Nightclubs (The High-Energy Tier)

The undisputed kings of Reno nightlife featuring world-class DJs and high-energy dance floors.

LEX Nightclub (Grand Sierra Resort)

Still the undisputed king of Reno nightlife. It features a $2 million sound system, indoor pool, and regularly hosts world-class DJs and performers.

NoVi (Eldorado)

A sleek, modern "ultra-lounge" that feels very exclusive. It’s perfect for the crowd that wants a sophisticated dance floor without the "mega-club" chaos.

El Jefe’s Cantina (Circus Circus)

Don't let the name fool you—it turns into a high-energy party spot with DJs and a massive tequila selection that draws a younger, upscale crowd late at night.

Live Music Lounges (The Sophisticated Tier)

Refined settings with live bands, jazz, and piano music for a sophisticated evening.

Afterglow (J Resort)

This is the new "it" spot downtown. It has a speakeasy vibe with live jazz every Thursday (featuring The Proof) and live bands like Hindsight on Friday and Saturday nights.

Roxy’s Bar & Lounge (Eldorado)

If you want the peak of "Dark Lux," this is it. Famous for their 102 different martinis and nightly live piano music in a very refined, dimly lit setting.

Silver Baron Lounge (Silver Legacy)

Great for live rock and pop covers under the massive mining rig—very high energy and always a consistent crowd.

Cabaret (Circus Circus)

Known for hosting high-quality tribute bands and versatile musical acts that keep the dance floor full.

Premier Showrooms (The Headliner Tier)

Where you find the big names and luxury vibes.

Silver Legacy Grand Exposition Hall

This is where you find the big names. For 2026, they have acts like Niko Moon (May 15) and Men At Work (August 18).

Peppermill Terrace Lounge

While slightly south of "true" downtown, it’s a must-include for the luxury vibe. They host bands like Whiskey Sunday and Poi Rogers in an award-winning lounge setting with no cover.
